DAY 1 - Welcome To Stowe
Distance: 16.5 miles | Terrain: Intermediate to Advanced | Talta Lodge
Meet at 3 p.m. at the Talta Lodge and take off on a pleasant and easy loop ride through the village of Moscow and back along the Stowe Bike Path. Enjoy a stop at the Alchemist Brewery, maker of the double IPA Heady Topper, which was recently voted the best beer in the world. Gather for a lovely dinner and beer tasting in Stowe tonight at 7 p.m.
DAY 2 - Smuggler's Notch
Distance: 32, 40, 43 or 49 miles | Terrain: Intermediate to Advanced | Talta Lodge
Your incredible day of cycling begins along the Stowe Bike Path, past the famous Stowe Ski Area and then up and over Smuggler’s Notch (with an optional lift from the van!). You visit Jeffersonville and Johnson, home of the famous woolen mill and outlet. Some will opt to take a beautiful loop north before passing through Hyde Park, past Cady’s Falls and along Stage Road back to Stowe. This evening, you are treated to the Von Trapp Brewery (yes, that’s the family from The Sound of Music film) and Bierhall for a 6:30 p.m. tasting event and delightful dinner.
DAY 3 - Pristine Moss Glen Falls
Distance: 26 or 35 miles | Terrain: Intermediate to Advanced
Today you ride north along beautiful Randolph Road, stopping for a short hike out to pristine Moss Glen Falls and then to Morrisville.
